Nadi related with pitha:

Nadi related with kapa:
Puruden, Changini, Gugu
Among the ten nadis, except Chulumunai,Singuvai, Changini and Guhu ; Idakalai – Pinkalai, Purudan – Kanthari, Athi – Alampudai etc appears to be right and left pairs yet they are not pairs . Because in their routes and action they differ which we can see in detail below.
Thasa (ten)nadi and Thasa (ten)vayu:
“Thasa nadi pathum thasa vayu pathum
Thalumbiyathan cheihai thanai arinthidamal
Pisahana veen noolkal parthalainthu
Pitharahi peipidithu thirivuramal
Nisamana porulirukumidathai thane
Nisankandu nervali chentridamal
Visamana noi varavai arinthidamal
Veen marunthalikka noi athikamakum”.
The extrordinary pressure exerted by the corrulation of Thasa Nadi with the Thasa vayu results in many diseases . Without knowing the correct reasonif we do treatment then it will increase the ailment.
Edakalai nadi and Prana Vayu:
The colour of the Edakalai nadi is black. Vadam moves through this nadi. This nadi begins from the big toe of the right leg, then it reach the left side of the liver, from where it divides into two branches, one branch to the left thumb and the other to the left Poikai, then from the Poikai, it again divides into two branches, one to the left nostril and other to the anus.
‘Akumida kalai nadiyathum prana vayuvum
Andiyallow valathukal (peru) viralil nintru
Mohamalo idathu nasiyalavu patri
Moolamathil melnokki viliyai thadavi
Pahamida makiranan thuravu kondu
Pakarvayvu kunmamudan kirani moolam
Vehamurum kamalai pandu sohai
Velluppu padarthamarai noyum thane”.
Edakalai nadi in association with the Prana begins from the big toe of the right leg to the left nostril. ie, from the big toe of the right leg to moolam, then towards the left eye upwards, from the eye to the left ear. Any distraction in this path way will result in diseases like dyspepsia, piles, jaundice, anaemia, dropsy, gonorrhoea etc,.
Pinkalai nadi and Apana Vayu
The colour of the Pinkalai nadi is yellow and through this the Pitha travels. It begins from the big toe of the left leg, to the right side of the liver, then it divides into two, one of which ends in the right thumb and the other through the right poikai reaches the right nostril and then through the lower jaw to the moolam.

Pinkalai nadi in association with Abana vayu begins from the big toe of the left leg to the right nostril. If it has any distraction in its path way, then problems related to the abdomen like loose motion, constipation etc, worms, continuous gastric problem, seetham, Stool with pus cells ,dryness, syphilis and excess perspiration etc will occurr.
Chulimunai Nadi and Viyana Vayu:
Chulimunai nadi which is red in colour begin from the Moolatharam to the centre of eyebrow and vice -versa.
“Kurikintra nadi chulimunaiyum vayvu
Koorukintra viyananumai ontrupattu
Pirikkintra sirasu thannil amirthodutru
Pinankiyallo poruthulaivu kolutha lemam
Marikkintra vayirulaivu visa pahankal
Mandainoi choolai yodu karappan kuttam
Murrikkintra irumal sayamundentru
Munnorkal chonnarhal mukkiyamaha”.
Chulimunai nadi and viyana vayu ifstay in the head in association because of any reason, then they may cause diseases like pain in joints, sprain, trauma, stomach pain, blood poisoning, head related diseases, eczema,leprosy, cough, tuber closis etc,.
Singuvai nadi and Udana vayu
Singuvai nadi begins from moolam (anal), then it reaches the naval pit , there it divides into ten branches and finally reaches the uvula. Colour of Singuvai is bluish black (like rainy cloud).

Mulangumantha uthananumayontru pattu
Pukkiya navathiloontri narambil chernthu
Piramiyankal neerolivu pilavai eelai
Thukkamurum araiyappu choolai maalai
Chulum mandai purtru paru pavunthirankal

Mihuveekka mundupannal villalame”.
Singuvai nadi in association with Uthana vayu, stay in the tongue if distracted will cause diseases like, diabetice, sexual diseases, pilavai, ezhai, araiyappu, pain neuralgia, malaikan, headcancer, paru, fistula, excessive pain, inner pain, kuvalai kayam and miku veekam.
Purudan nadi and Samana vayu :
Purudan nadi is otherwise known as Alampurudan or Vajiravan. It begins from the heel and reach the right eye like a string.
‘Villuven nadiyathu purudan thanum
Visaiyana samana vaivathinodu koodi
Mella valakkannathanill pukki vayil
Viluthiranki seethakapa vathakopam
Ulla viyarvai sanni kurothankal veekam
Ushna noi vayvu suram mayakkam mantham
Thullalodu maral veppu vizhiyil novu
Thoonduthal melorhal chonnavare.
Purudan nadi in association with Samanan vayu stay at the right eye when distracted and will cause diseases like, Phlegmatic kapha, rheumatism,sweating, heat related ailments, delirium, angerness, edema, , gastric problems, fever, unconsciousness, indigestion, shivering fever, and eye diseases.
Kanthari nadi and Nagan vayu :
Kanthari nadi starts from the left eye, through the lower part of the ear, through the spine reaches the foot-heel.
“Varana kanthari nadi thanum
Vayvathu nakanumayontrupattu
Perana edathuvili thannil mevi
Pirinthu thondaikulithanile pinnalahi
Veerana sanni suram kulimai silerpam
Visavatham kuvalai sayam pakkavatham
Koorana kulir virayal piramehankal
Kuthirumal undumena chonnar melor.
Kanthari nadi along with nagan vayu, reaches the throat from the right eye and will stay there when distracted and will create diseases like fits, fever, cold, phlegmatic, poisonous paralysis, Kuvalai, Tuberclosis, Paralysis, shivering, piameham and cough.
Athi nadi and koorman vayu:
Athinadi begins at the moolam and moves upwards and reaches right ear and then reaches the right nostril.
“Melana nadiyathu aththithanum
Mihu vayvu koormanumai meninintru
Chelana valakathirunthelumbi
Chirantha vilithannil mevi kabalachoolai
Kolana sirasunoi uthaduroham
Kuvalaiyodu ulnovu kavilputru
Kalana Nayananoi nadukkam vikkal
Kalarumena chonnarkal karuthipare”
Athi nadi along with koorman vayu, starts from right ear and ends on eye on distraction. It causes neuralgia in head, head diseases, diseases in lips, Kuvalai, inner pain, cancer, eye diseases, shivering and vikkal.
Alambudai nadi and kirukaran vayu:
Alampudai nadi is otherswise called as Asana nadi. Its colour is red. It begins from the anal, reached ear upwardly, finally ends on left side of the nose.
Sankini Nadi and Devathathan Vayu :
Sankini nadi begins from the penis or the vagina to the moolam , then it moves upwards to the chuliyadi, from where it is divided into 10 branches. Some of these branches reach to Chulimunai or Amirtha place of the brain. Its colour is crystaline.
“Amintha sankiniyam nadithanum
Adarvayvu thevathathan thanum koodi
Thamintha linkamathil puhunthu oda
Saththamathu mel nokki thodarvathahi
Omintha mehamodu ushnaroham
Utra chayamirumal kuralkattu vayvu
Pomintha varatchai meliruthu roham
Pollatha kapanoikal poonumayya”.
Thevathathan in association with sankini naddi, when distracted will enter the penis and from there it move upwards . It causes the diseases like meham, diseases due to heat, Caugh, change in voice, gastric problem , varatchai and Phlegmatic diseases.
Kuhu Nadi and Thananchayan vayu :
Kuhu nadi starts from the coccyx moving upwards and reaches the base of the heart. There it branches into 10 . One of these branches reaches the ladam and ends at the Uvula. Other branch end at the moolam and colour of this nadi is green.
“Ayyane nadiyathu kukuvanthanum
Adar vayvu thananchayanum annuki nintru
Payyave abanamathil mevi chenkol
Pahar moolaithanilkoodi kapa seethankal
Meyyana veechuvali channi thosam
Viyarvai parathabamodu mayakkam vikkal
Cheikintra palapinikkum varalarithu
Chonna kurikanavittal veru kayam”
Kuku nadi in association with Thananchayan vayu will link with the abanan, then reaches the brain. It causes phlegmatic diseases, veechuvalli, fits, sweating, Thosam, prathapam, unconscious and hiccup.
