Gurunadi which is the major nadi is divided into three nadikal such as Edakalai, Pinkalai and Chulumunai.  These three nadikal are further divided into seven more forming a total of ten and further as 72,000.  These nadis are related with the  4,448 types of dieases.  These nadi endings are known as “Mudichu”.  Though there are such 8000 spots, the important Mudichu are 56, which  are called as  Adankal.  These Adankal places are used to cure the trauma due to the Varma injury.
